Egy értelmiségi háttérrel rendelkező baráti társaság 2022-ben elhatározta, hogy az újabb kezdeményezések felkarolása végett megalakítja a Koronázó Bazilika Baráti Társaságot, melynek alapító okiratának aláírására most február elején került sor az eredeti koronázó bazilika mellett található étteremben. Az elnökség tagjai: Prof. Dr. Wittmann István, Prof. Dr. Nagy Péter, Dr. Cser-Palkovics Tamás, Dr. Szabados György, Dr. Kiss Zoltán.http://www.kbbt.hu/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/cropped-kbbt-logo.jpg
